With a doctoral degree in Collaborative High Impact Instruction and two master's degrees in education and curriculum, Dr. Twyla Baylor leads the academic vision of Elite Scholars Academy. Her primary responsibilities include:

• Leading teacher development, mentoring, and instructional support.

• Ensuring academic standards are aligned with state requirements and the academy’s mission.

• Overseeing student assessments and data-driven instructional practices.

• Partnering with parents and stakeholders to support scholar achievement and school improvement.

As a passionate educator and visionary leader, Lakesha Nelson manages the school’s daily operations and organizational culture. Her key responsibilities include:
